Job Description
The Associate Senior Associate in Underwriting for Real Estate Finance at Forbright Bank assists in underwriting and originating commercial real estate loans, supporting senior team members to achieve lending and origination goals while maintaining credit quality and risk management standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in underwriting Commercial Real Estate finance products.
- Support Real Estate Finance Managing Directors and Directors with lending opportunities.
- Contribute to achieving real estate origination goals.
- Maintain acceptable credit quality and return targets for loan portfolios.
Requirements
- Assist the Real Estate Finance Managing Directors and Directors the Originators with underwriting lending opportunities and achieving real estate origination goals while maintaining acceptable credit quality and return targets.
- Perform duties of the job primarily in an office setting, with some positions possibly allowing remote work through technology at management discretion.
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time as required.
- Use hands and fingers to operate office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- Utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity to perform job functions.
- Communicate clearly, either verbally or in writing, with others.
- Exhibit a high level of flexibility regarding situationally assigned duties outside of the standard job description to ensure organizational efficiency.
- Possess the ability to operate technology or other office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- Have the capacity to communicate clearly in verbal and written forms with colleagues and clients.
