Job Description
The role involves negotiating, drafting, and managing complex contracts with commercial and government clients, primarily in the technology and software sectors, while supporting internal teams and ensuring compliance with company policies and risk management standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and negotiate heavily negotiated contract templates and customer agreements in accordance with company guidelines.
- Review, draft, and negotiate complex contracts related to cloud, data, software, services, OEM, reseller, VARs, and partner channels.
- Respond promptly to contract work requests, providing quality support to internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract terms align with business, financial, and risk management objectives.
- Identify contractual risks, propose mitigation strategies, and develop opportunities to streamline negotiations.
- Develop expertise in specific contract areas, mentor team members, and impart subject matter knowledge.
- Create and update contract templates for new and existing products and programs.
- Maintain high ethical standards and ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of experience negotiating and drafting agreements.
- Two (2) years of experience negotiating technology and service agreements.
- Superior negotiation techniques and drafting skills.
- Mastery of written and verbal communications.
- Detail oriented, well organized, analytical, quick learner.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced environment.
- Diligent and proactive with sound business judgment and strategic thinking.
- Ability to manage a significant volume of agreements in a timely manner.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and computer skills.
- Knowledge of Apttus (now Conga) or Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts administration, legal studies, or a related field.

Base salary range estimated between $98,800 and $153,920 USD
