Job Description
Develop and design cross-platform mapping and GIS applications with a focus on native app development, user experience, and innovative technology, working as part of an Agile team to create solutions for data collection, navigation, and sensor networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop native and cross-platform mapping and GIS applications
- Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces for mobile, desktop, and web systems
- Collaborate within an Agile team to build feature-rich applications using C .NET
- Develop software for field mapping, data collection, sensor networks, and navigation
- Define user requirements and develop applications and APIs for devices and web services
- Ensure ArcGIS software functions effectively in real-world scenarios
- Solve complex problems related to application design, development, and user experience
Requirements
- Five years of commercial software development experience.
- Fluent in and passionate about .NET, C# .NET MAUI, Xamarin, Xamarin.Forms, and C development experience.
- Experience with building and consuming JSON, XAML, XML, and Web Services.
- Experience designing and developing native apps that meet the requirements of a broad range of users.
- Ability to design responsive and intuitive user interfaces for mobile, desktop, and web systems.
- Experience in cross-platform app development.
- Understanding of algorithms and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Jenkins, and crash telemetry monitoring tools such as Sentry.
- Ability to work closely with the team to build quality software in a constantly evolving environment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or a related field.
