This role involves selling Edge DERMS software and services to utility companies, building strong client relationships, developing business cases, and identifying new market opportunities within the clean energy and utility sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Sell Edge DERMS software and services to utility clients
Develop trusting relationships with utility prospects and clients
Build and manage a sales pipeline, tracking progress and opportunities
Provide business cases to utilities demonstrating the value of offerings
Develop proposals, including narratives and pricing, for utility RFPs
Collaborate with utilities to identify market needs and new business opportunities
Work with sales, product, and marketing teams to align offerings and messaging
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing role in the utility or climate tech industry, with at least one year in a dedicated sales role.
Demonstrated track record managing high-revenue business opportunities.
Strong analytical capabilities.
Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
Strong desire to learn about the DERMS market and ability to work up the learning curve quickly.
Flexibility for a significant amount of travel, specifically 20-40%.

Uncapped, variable compensation target of 100,000 USD
