Job Description
The Integration Program Manager at EnergyHub leads complex system integrations with utility clients, managing technical delivery, stakeholder communication, and project execution to enable automation and demand response programs within the energy grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage platform integrations with utility clients and vendors, ensuring on-time delivery from requirements discovery to launch.
- Champion the value of EnergyHub's platform APIs and integrations by conveying use cases and benefits.
- Develop and provide access to API documentation, sandbox environments, and testing procedures for integrations.
- Create repeatable playbooks for integrating platform systems such as Customer Information Systems, Grid DERMS, and OpenADR.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful integration and launch of projects.
Requirements
- Experience in demand response, API integrations, and communication protocols such as IEEE 2030.5 and OpenADR.
- Strong communication skills, especially external communication with customers, partners, and vendors, including leading technical and implementation overviews.
- Experience with REST API architecture, including understanding of status codes and authentication mechanisms.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively among cross-functional stakeholders while operating within existing resources.
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly, precisely, and in an actionable manner to influence and advocate for change.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience in technical program management, product management, developer relations, or related roles.
- Experience in the energy industry, particularly in demand side or distributed energy resource (DER) management.
- Understanding of residential distributed energy resources such as smart thermostats, battery energy storage systems, EVs, etc., and their benefits to the grid.
- Familiarity with utility systems such as ADMS, DERMS, and SCADA.
- Project management experience, including familiarity with tools, frameworks, and processes.
- Experience with support tools and systems used by external parties to log, prioritize, and resolve issues.

Compensation/salary range: $115,000 - $135,000 USD
