Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager at EnergyHub is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote energy solutions for utilities, creating compelling messaging and collateral, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive market adoption and success in the renewable energy and distributed energy resource space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on customer challenges related to distributed energy resource adoption and how solutions address grid needs
  • Develop and disseminate customer insights and craft compelling messaging and narratives aligned with company positioning
  • Support sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams with training on solutions' value propositions
  • Create persuasive marketing collateral such as sales enablement materials, product sheets, presentations, and case studies
  • Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches and features, including sales enablement and promotional activities
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends, positioning strategies, and differentiation opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product information, conduct market research, and refine messaging
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, track KPIs, and provide insights for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology, energy, or utilities industry.
  • Bachelor's degree education or equivalent with a demonstrated understanding of product marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Ability to quickly iterate on new ideas with curiosity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messaging using simple, everyday language.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing impactful marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams such as product management, sales, client success, and engineering.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and initiate new projects independently.
  • Passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving positive environmental impact.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation/salary range: $120,000 - $145,000 USD
