Job Description
The Project Manager for the PMO at Energy Solutions is responsible for advancing project management standards, managing risk assessments, supporting process improvements, and facilitating communication across departments to ensure effective project execution and continuous improvement within a growing company focused on energy and water savings solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, standardize, and improve project management best practices and frameworks.
- Execute risk assessment controls and analyze project risk data.
- Manage and update the PMO task roadmap, activities, and goals.
- Present findings, recommendations, and PMO activities to leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop policies for risk response, mitigation, quality control, and assurance.
- Support training development and rollout for project management practices.
- Manage and support the project management software platform (Monday.com).
- Maintain and update the PMO SharePoint site and Slack channel.
- Track and report on key performance metrics and goals.
- Coordinate communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience OR a minimum of 4 years of work experience in a related position in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- One of the following certifications is required: CAPM, PMP, or Prosci Change Management certification.
- Strong project management, organization, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
- Strong experience using Monday.com or willingness to learn how to use it.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent personal accountability and quality control practices.
- Ability to develop, manage, update, and support the roadmap for PMO tasks, activities, and goals.
- Ability to support the development and standardization of company best practices around project management.
- Ability to execute risk assessment controls owned by the PMO and analyze and develop reporting such as PM checklists, risk assessment surveys, and client satisfaction surveys.
- Ability to develop frameworks and policies for risk response, mitigation, quality control, and quality assurance.
- Ability to identify training topics, work alongside SMEs to develop content, and collaborate with the Learning & Development team to develop and roll out training on LMS.
- Ability to support the management of the project management software platform Monday.com.
- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional partners internally.
- Ability to present PMO activities at All Hands, ES engage, targeted meetings, and to ES Leadership.
- Ability to maintain and monitor the PMO SharePoint site and Slack channel.
- Ability to track key performance metrics and goals.
- Ability to prioritize and manage additional ad-hoc requests and responsibilities.

Salary range of $69,000 to $79,000 annually, commensurate with experience
