Job Description
The Energy Efficiency Associate supports the implementation of energy efficiency and building electrification incentive programs, primarily in New York, by processing applications, coordinating stakeholder communications, and assisting with program design to promote energy savings and greenhouse gas reductions.
Responsibilities
- •Process rebate project applications according to standard operating procedures
- •Organize and facilitate meetings and calls with internal and external stakeholders
- •Track progress of work assignments and ensure accuracy and efficiency
- •Participate in team meetings and training sessions to expand program knowledge
- •Conduct technology research and literature searches related to energy efficiency
- •Communicate regularly with clients and program participants
- •Assist with program design and implementation
Requirements
- •Bachelor's degree in an energy-related discipline with environmental, electrical, or mechanical engineering preferred or a minimum of two years of relevant work experience with no degree.
- •Experience using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
- •Strong organizational and project management skills.
- •Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- •Exceptional attention to detail.
- •Flexibility and adaptability.
- •Ability to work and thrive independently and juggle multiple competing priorities.
- •Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach.
- •Excellent personal accountability.
- •Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment adjacent to the New York, NY office and be on-site a minimum of once a week, preferably Wednesdays.
- •Process rebate project applications according to documented standard operating procedures.
- •Organize and facilitate in-person meetings and calls with internal and external stakeholders.
- •Track progress of work assignments, including work to be done and work completed.
- •Participate in team meetings and complete regular training sessions to expand program knowledge.
- •Conduct technology research and literature searches.
- •Assist with program design and implementation.
- •Complete a background check, drug screen, and authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely as preconditions of employment.
