Job Description
The Energy Efficiency Project Manager I, Foodservice Programs, is responsible for managing and supporting rebate programs for foodservice equipment, engaging with clients and stakeholders, coordinating outreach and program activities, and contributing to market research and program development to promote energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reductions in the California and Western U.S. region.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to assigned accounts to promote participation in rebate programs
- Review, submit, and support processing of rebate claims
- Organize and facilitate meetings, conference calls, and collaborative sessions
- Manage program deliverables, budgets, and tasks with minimal oversight
- Track market trends and changes impacting foodservice programs
- Contribute to strategy development and new program design for foodservice offerings
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and external collaborators
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree OR a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Seeking well qualified candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Regional travel of up to 20% required, with the ability to operate a vehicle, a driver’s license, and access to a personal vehicle for traveling 2-5 days per month, with trips potentially up to 200 miles roundtrip, and mileage reimbursement provided.
- Must be able to operate a vehicle and have a driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills including comfort and interest in foodservice equipment dealer outreach and engagement.
- Demonstrated customer service experience and ability to build relationships with foodservice market actors through phone calls, Zoom, and face-to-face meetings.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong technical writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and OneNote.
- Ability to work and thrive independently and juggle multiple competing priorities.
- Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach.
- Excellent personal accountability and high attention to detail.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually
Work schedule includes regional travel of up to 20%, with trips up to 200 miles roundtrip
