Job Description
The VP of Product Marketing at Amperity is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for the company's AI-powered customer data platform, while aligning product, sales, and marketing teams to drive growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Amperity's products and emerging offerings.
- Create and operationalize differentiated positioning and messaging to support sales and partner channels.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to drive pipeline generation, revenue, and product adoption.
- Build sales tools, enablement materials, and GTM plays to enhance sales productivity and accelerate deals.
- Lead pricing, packaging, and business model strategies, including subscription and OEM licensing.
- Partner with Business Development to craft positioning and messaging for paid media and data partners.
- Organize and evolve customer marketing programs to turn customers into advocates.
- Act as a thought leader and evangelist through content creation, speaking engagements, and internal/external representation.
- Conduct research to inform business decisions related to product positioning, pricing, competitive intelligence, and campaign messaging.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the product and partner marketing teams.
Requirements
- Equivalent of 15 years experience managing and mentoring a product marketing team in a tech company, data-oriented SaaS organization strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS pricing and packaging strategies
- Strong understanding of both technical CIO, Developers, and marketing personas
- Experience operating and effectively influencing and aligning SaaS marketing teams to drive outcomes across direct and partner channels
- Prior experience building diverse teams with a strong sense of mission and belonging
- Demonstrated customer centric mindset
- Strong influence, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Experience building trusted relationships with executive sponsors, partners, and end users
- Location requirement: Seattle, WA or New York, NY with a hybrid work model including three days in the office each week
