Job Description
The Real Estate Paralegal will support the Chief Counsel and Litigation Counsel in managing various real estate legal matters, including transaction and litigation documents, and communicate with internal departments, external counsel, tenants, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Chief Counsel, Real Estate, and Real Estate Litigation Counsel in handling real estate transactions and litigation documents.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing legal documents related to real estate matters.
- Communicate with internal departments, external counsel, tenants, counterparty counsel, and government agencies regarding real estate issues.
Requirements
- Support the Chief Counsel, Real Estate and Real Estate Litigation Counsel, in handling a variety of real estate matters for ESRT, including transaction and litigation documents.
- Assist with written and oral communication with other departments within the company, ESRT's external counsel, tenants and counterparty's counsel, and government agencies.
- Possess the ability to work directly with legal documents related to real estate transactions and litigation.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple real estate matters and communication channels.
- Have a thorough understanding of real estate legal processes and documentation.
- Possess experience working in a legal environment supporting real estate transactions and litigation (implied by the role, though specific years of experience are not explicitly stated).
