Job Description
The Investment Analyst supports all phases of the investment process for office, retail, and residential assets, focusing on financial analysis, transaction support, underwriting, due diligence, and asset management within a leading NYC-based real estate investment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis of potential investment opportunities in office, retail, and residential assets.
- Support transaction processes including underwriting and due diligence.
- Assist in team organization and coordination of logistics related to investment activities.
- Provide ongoing support in asset management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, transaction support, underwriting, due diligence, or asset management related to real estate investments.
- Ability to support all phases of the investment process, including financial analysis, transaction support, and team organization and logistics.
- Support over time in underwriting, due diligence, and asset management activities.
- Strong organizational skills to assist in team logistics and transaction coordination.
- Excellent communication skills to support the investment team and facilitate collaboration.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data related to office, retail, and residential assets.
- Understanding of equity, preferred equity, mezzanine, and distressed debt investment opportunities.
- Commitment to supporting the investment process across multiple asset types including office, retail, and residential properties.
