Job Description
The Director of Total Rewards is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the company's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization's Total Rewards program.
- Manage payroll compensation, benefits, 401K, and related areas within the Total Rewards program.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure buy-in and alignment on Total Rewards initiatives.
- Manage direct reports and ensure the delivery of measurable business outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Drive efficiency in the administration and management of the Total Rewards programs.
Requirements
- Proven track record with the ability to manage direct reports, deliver measurable business outcomes, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency.
- Experience in leading the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of a Total Rewards program, including payroll compensation, benefits, and 401K.
- Ability to collaborate and gain buy-in from all departments within the organization.
- Strong leadership skills to oversee and develop a team responsible for Total Rewards functions.
- Experience working in a corporate environment, preferably within a real estate investment trust (REIT) or similar industry.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with executive leadership and various departments.
- Experience in driving efficiency and measurable business outcomes through Total Rewards initiatives.
