Job Description
The Director of Network Infrastructure is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's network and infrastructure technologies, including cloud, on-premises systems, and enterprise networks, while aligning with business goals and cybersecurity standards. The role involves strategic planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with IT teams to support the company's operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategize and align infrastructure and network technologies with business objectives and cybersecurity best practices
- Plan, decide, implement, and maintain cloud, on-premises network, storage, virtualization platforms, and server management
- Manage enterprise and real estate asset networks, including wired, wireless, building risers, IT, and OT technologies
- Report results and provide strategic guidance to leadership
- Perform hands-on assistance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
- Manage project milestones related to network infrastructure initiatives
- Collaborate with IT personnel to achieve business objectives related to network infrastructure
Requirements
- Experience in strategizing and aligning industry leading infrastructure and network technologies with business objectives and cybersecurity best practices.
- Proven ability to plan, decision make, implement, and maintain all aspects of network infrastructure including cloud, on-premises network, storage, virtualization platforms, and server management.
- Experience managing enterprise and real estate asset networks including wired, wireless, building risers, IT, and OT technologies.
- Ability to report results to leadership and collaborate with IT personnel to achieve business objectives.
- Hands-on assistance and troubleshooting skills in network infrastructure and related technologies.
- Experience managing project milestones related to network infrastructure projects.
