Job Description
The Account Executive, Territory role at DroneDeploy involves expanding the company's presence in a designated region by growing existing accounts and acquiring new mid-market customers in the AEC industry, using a consultative approach to drive sales and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand DroneDeploy's presence across an assigned territory by growing existing accounts and acquiring new mid-market AEC customers
- Develop and execute a territory plan to target potential clients and opportunities
- Engage with stakeholders from field teams to the C-suite to understand needs and promote solutions
- Meet and exceed sales quotas through consultative selling approaches
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer success and retention
Requirements
- Experience in a sales role focused on expanding presence across an assigned territory, with a focus on growing existing accounts and landing new mid-market customers in the AEC industry.
- Ability to shape and execute a territory plan independently, working with stakeholders from field teams to the C-suite.
- Consultative sales approach with a track record of delivering consistent results against sales quotas.
- Proven experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry or related field is implied as necessary for success in this role.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with diverse levels of stakeholders from field teams to executive leadership.
- Ability to work remotely with autonomy and manage a territory effectively without direct supervision.
