The Senior Director, Revenue Operations Strategy is a senior GTM leader responsible for developing and managing the systems, strategies, and processes that drive DroneDeploy's revenue growth across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring predictable growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Own and develop the strategy, systems, and operating rhythm for DroneDeploy's revenue engine across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Lead a cross-functional Revenue Operations organization responsible for forecasting, pipeline management, commercial governance, GTM analytics, and sales compensation.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product teams to build a modern, AI-enabled revenue engine that ensures predictable growth and visibility for leadership.
Translate revenue strategy into operational plans, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives across the customer lifecycle.
Requirements
Experience in developing and owning revenue strategy, systems, and operating rhythm that support Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions.
Proven ability to lead a cross-functional Revenue Operations (RevOps) organization responsible for forecasting, pipeline health, commercial governance, GTM analytics, systems, and sales compensation.
Experience partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product teams to build a modern, AI-enabled revenue engine.
Ability to translate revenue strategy into operating plans, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives across the full customer lifecycle.
Experience in leading a senior GTM leader role or similar capacity with a focus on revenue operations and strategy.
Strong understanding of revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial governance processes.
Experience in implementing and managing sales systems and GTM analytics tools.
Ability to develop and oversee sales compensation plans aligned with revenue goals.
Experience working in a remote-first environment or managing remote teams.
Demonstrated ability to deliver predictable growth and optimize unit economics through strategic initiatives.
Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple departments including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product.
Strong communication skills to translate revenue strategy into clear operating plans and metrics.
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies related to revenue operations and customer lifecycle management.
