Job Description
The role involves leading a team of engineers to design and deliver scalable, innovative solutions for integrating Process Management into the Celonis Platform, focusing on APIs, microservices, and user experience to enhance business process insights and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable solutions for integrating Process Management into the Celonis Platform.
- Develop robust, scalable APIs and microservices using C, Azure, and modern microservice architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure impactful product feature development.
- Manage team performance and support the career development of engineers.
- Build and maintain an engineering culture of trust, ownership, and collaboration.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in an Engineering Manager or technical leadership position leading projects and people
- 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong technical knowledge expected at staff engineer level, including experience working with technologies like C and Azure
- Experience working with microservices architecture
- Strong communication skills to collaborate smoothly with people across multiple roles and countries
- Knowledge of day-to-day team organization methodologies like agile
- Ability to lead and make decisions to define the road ahead
- Ability to resolve technical conflicts when necessary, fostering a positive environment for escalations
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves to help your team
- Experience in designing and delivering scalable solutions for integrating Process Management into a platform
- Ability to use technical judgment and intuition about customer behavior to determine the best paths forward on features, considering properties like time to implement, maintainability, scalability, and performance
- Experience managing the performance and supporting the career development of engineers up to the Staff level
