Job Description
The role involves leading the Financial Services practice at Celonis, driving strategic value delivery, managing client relationships with C-level executives, and overseeing transformation programs to optimize operational efficiency and risk mitigation within the banking and insurance sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Financial Services practice for North America, defining regional value strategies
- Partner with C-Level executives to map strategic goals to Celonis capabilities
- Drive technical innovation and operational solutions to solve critical business problems
- Oversee the delivery of complex transformation programs across value chains
- Manage escalation points and facilitate high-stakes steering committees with senior clients
- Create industry-specific best practices and reusable assets to scale the practice
- Act as the voice of the customer to product engineering for feedback on data, security, and regulatory needs
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of Value Engineers and client-facing partners
- Allocate resources effectively to meet sales, renewal, and adoption targets
- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives impacting operational efficiency and risk mitigation
Requirements
- 12 years of relevant experience in a leadership role within Management Consulting, Value Engineering, or Financial Services Operations, including at least 5 years in a people-management role.
- Deep, granular understanding of the Financial Services value chain including Banking Retail and Institutional Operations, Finance, Risk Compliance, and Payments, as well as Insurance Claims Loss Ratios, Underwriting Risk Selection, and Policy Servicing.
- Demonstrated ability to qualify complex engagements and drive commercial strategy, including understanding the buying center of a financial institution and navigating procurement, IT security, and business stakeholder requirements.
- Understanding of the modern FSI technology stack and how to articulate the value of Process Intelligence within legacy versus modernization landscapes.
- Proven history of leading large-scale transformation programs that impacted the P&L through operational efficiency or risk mitigation.
- Extensive experience presenting to C-Level executives such as COO, CIO, and CDO, and navigating complex, matrixed organizations using data to persuade senior stakeholders.
