Job Description
This role involves leading client relationships, driving business development, and managing project teams within the Health Market for CannonDesign, with a focus on strategic growth, innovative design solutions, and fostering long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client relationships within the Health Market, ensuring successful project outcomes and long-term engagement.
- Develop and pursue new business opportunities with both new and existing clients to achieve top-line growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and build high-performing project teams to deliver innovative design solutions and high-quality service.
- Strategically plan and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to execute creative, state-of-the-art solutions aligned with client needs.
- Foster collaboration across the firm to support business development, project delivery, and staff development initiatives.
Requirements
- Must have at least 15 years of experience in the Health Market with a proven track record of client and team leadership, and business development success.
- Must have previous experience in client leadership roles that have been connected to an office, market, or region with multiple successful client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering is preferred.
- Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Exceptional client and people leadership skills.
- Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
- Some travel required.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: Top line success goal of $3.0M per year in net signed fees (subject to change)
Work schedule: Approximately 45% of time focused on billable project work, 35% on business development, and 10% on team leadership
