The Architect III role involves contributing to design, technical detailing, coordination, and project management within a multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities including site visits, client communication, and possibly supervising junior staff, all while ensuring code compliance and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects.
Assist in coordinating engineering systems with consultants and engineers.
Maintain communication with owners and consultants regarding project status and design concerns.
Prepare design sketches for site plans and ensure project documents are coordinated across disciplines.
Evaluate designs for code compliance and assist with plan review and approvals.
Perform field site observations and visits, including physical walk-throughs.
Coordinate with team members on project assignments.
Supervise, monitor, and potentially train or lead interns and less experienced staff.
Participate in project team meetings and potentially take on leadership roles.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in a relevant field required
Minimum 6 years of related professional experience required
Current Architectural Registration in the United States required
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required
Must be a critical thinker
Must be highly analytical
Must be a fully qualified professional
Must possess technical capabilities
Ability to perform work with some degree of latitude and with some ambiguity in work
Strong creative design portfolio is essential
Must have strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects
