Job Description
This position is a senior healthcare project leader and subject matter expert responsible for guiding design, planning, and technical development of healthcare facilities, mentoring team members, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative, sustainable architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead healthcare projects by providing technical expertise in programming, planning, and architectural development.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop, modify, and review planning concepts and solutions.
- Lead client and user group meetings to gather needs and assess space utilization.
- Translate planning concepts into clear reports, graphics, and verbal communication for clients and project teams.
- Develop architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation for construction.
- Develop project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations.
- Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
- Minimum 10 years of related experience
- Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the healthcare market
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements
- Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
- Must possess business acumen
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to be client facing
- Ability to lead less experienced team members
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software
