Job Description
This role involves managing and developing customer relationships within the infrastructure industry by leveraging GIS technology, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to large organizations in sectors such as electric, gas, telecom, and rail. The position requires strategic account management, industry expertise, and collaboration to drive adoption and expansion of Esri's GIS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for large organizations
- Identify new opportunities and deepen existing customer relationships
- Present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars to demonstrate industry knowledge
- Understand customer needs, key stakeholders, and decision-making processes
- Articulate the value of Esri technology and its relevance to the infrastructure industry
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop account strategies
- Share knowledge and mentor team members to support organizational growth
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers.
- Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of GIS and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and electric, gas, telecom, or rail industries as they relate to one another.
- Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
- Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, surveying, engineering, business administration, or a related field.

Base salary range of $114,400 to $218,400 USD
