Job Description
The Environmental Graphic Designer IV is a senior professional responsible for leading the conceptual and creative development of experiential graphic design projects across various markets, collaborating with teams and clients to transform spaces into engaging and meaningful environments that reflect brand identity and mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual and design development across multiple projects.
- Mentor junior design team members on technical skills, art direction, and storytelling.
- Translate client needs and ideas into compelling design concepts.
- Execute projects from strategy to final design with confidence.
- Develop detailed documentation for graphic programs, signage systems, and exhibits.
- Manage projects and coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and outside consultants.
- Review and redline shop drawings and submittals during construction phases.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience required.
- Exceptional design portfolio demonstrating a strong background in a variety of markets with a particular focus on high-end workplace environments.
- Strong typography skills.
- Robust communication skills and proven strategies for collaborating in fast-moving, complex project teams.
- Strong knowledge of signage and wayfinding design and methodology.
- Deep understanding of all aspects of experiential design required.
- Strong client leadership and technical leadership for production team large, complex projects.
- Ability to perform work with a high degree of latitude.
- Must be a critical thinker, highly analytical, and possess business acumen.
- Proficient in project management.
- Attention to detail a must.
- Proficiency on Mac in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required.
- Skills in Revit and SketchUp are a plus.
