The Well Drilling Site Superintendent oversees construction drilling sites for large commercial projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency while managing on-site teams and communicating project progress to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage all aspects of construction drilling job sites to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with plans, schedules, and budgets
Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality regulations, securing necessary permits and inspections
Lead, motivate, and mentor on-site teams, including subcontractors and crew members, to achieve high productivity and quality
Communicate project progress, issues, and delays to management and clients, providing solutions as needed
Modify job site schedules to accommodate project needs and delays
Establish effective working relationships at job sites
Requirements
High School Diploma is required; Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar field is preferred.
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver s license.
Ability to travel to various locations as required by the job, including being willing to be away from home Monday through Friday with scheduled Saturdays.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction job sites.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Ability to read construction documents.
Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
Must be able to supervise and manage all aspects of job sites, ensuring they run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Must ensure safety, compliance, and quality regulations are followed at all times.
Must establish effective working relationships at job sites.
This position is safety sensitive and requires passing a pre-employment background check, criminal history check, and pre-employment drug screen.
Must be willing to work an average of 40 hours per week, with overtime as scheduled, and meet the expected hours of work for full-time employment.
Expected to work in a work site setting, including field-based assignments, with physical demands that meet the essential functions of the job.
Must be willing to obtain and maintain OSHA 30 Certification (preferred).
Construction Supervisor s License (preferred).
CDL A license (preferred).
