The role involves managing and facilitating complex geothermal energy projects from inception to completion, including business development, stakeholder engagement, technical analysis, and project coordination within a renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate geothermal project development from early-stage to contract execution, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
Conduct origination research using digital tools to identify prospective clients, partners, and opportunities, and manage related data in CRM platforms.
Attend conferences and events to build client and partner relationships and articulate the company's value proposition.
Coordinate internal and external teams for project meetings and communication, maintaining clear and professional stakeholder engagement.
Create and update project-related materials, databases, and dashboards to support project tracking and reporting.
Develop and implement tailored communication strategies to inform and align stakeholders on project development processes.
Perform preliminary technical analysis of geological, building, and regulatory data relevant to geothermal projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field AND 0-3 years of experience in sales, project management, or project implementation.
Experience or education in renewable energy, real estate development, MEP, environmental engineering, construction, or architecture.
Experience or education reviewing technical and financial documents such as site plans, cost estimates, reports, and grants.
Experience or education managing projects with permitting or regulatory approvals, including at least one full approval cycle.
Basic proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Ability to conduct origination research and find prospective opportunities using digital tools and platforms.
Ability to research, identify, and manage target lists of events, conferences, associations, clients, and partners.
Ability to manage pre- and post-event task coordination with Marketing Team and external organizers or administrators, including follow-up meetings.
Ability to enter, manage, and maintain origination-stage data and tasks in HubSpot, including Contacts, Campaigns, and Events, ensuring data is up to date.
Ability to craft campaign messaging and implement sequencing or imports via HubSpot.
Ability to synthesize origination research to formulate, plan, and execute team origination campaign strategies.
Ability to assess team origination effectiveness and prepare strategies to improve messaging and targeting.
Willingness to attend conferences and events to foster client and partner relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate Brightcore’s value proposition and build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to facilitate geothermal project development efforts, adhering to budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
Ability to coordinate across internal and external teams to schedule project or introductory meetings and maintain clear and professional communication with clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Ability to create and update databases and dashboards on CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Monday.com in a timely manner.
Ability to prepare or revise project-related materials such as requests for information and proposals.
Ability to support internal teams with project-related back-of-house and project upkeep tasks.
Ability to execute comprehensive and tailored communication strategies for complex geothermal projects.
Ability to liaise with different project parties and internal teams to collate, share, and submit information and project-related materials in adherence to deadlines.
Ability to conduct preliminary technical analysis on materials such as geological maps and building data, and synthesize information.
Ability to stay up to date on applicable incentive or grant programs and regulations related to geothermal projects.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time to office work project sites in the greater Northeast Region and/or East Coast, with at least 3 days per week in the office unless otherwise agreed.
Physical ability to meet the physical demands of the role (not safety-sensitive position).
Ability to pass pre-employment background check, criminal history check, and pre-employment drug screen, including compliance with DOT regulations for safety-sensitive duties if applicable.

Salary range of $75,001.00 to $95,000.00
Work hours of at least 40 hours per week, with eligibility for overtime pay for non-exempt employees
