The role involves leading and managing complex geothermal energy development projects, including business development, stakeholder engagement, technical analysis, and project execution, to support the company's renewable energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage geothermal development projects from early-stage to contract execution, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
Develop and implement business development strategies to generate new project opportunities and meet revenue targets.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to communicate project progress, understand needs, and build strong relationships.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely project delivery and effective communication.
Prepare and review project-related documents, including proposals, contracts, and technical materials.
Negotiate commercial terms and facilitate contract negotiations with clients and legal teams.
Conduct technical research and analyze data from geological, regulatory, and engineering sources to support project planning and decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field AND 3 to 7 years of experience in sales, project management, or project implementation.
3 years of experience in renewable energy, real estate development, MEP, environmental engineering, construction, or architecture.
Experience reviewing technical and financial documents such as site plans, cost estimates, reports, and grants.
Experience managing projects with permitting or regulatory approvals, including at least one full approval cycle.
Proven delivery of 3 complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
2 years managing client-facing projects with responsibility for schedules and milestones.
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Experience leading presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience working on cross-functional teams with internal and external partners.
Track record of meeting performance or revenue targets.
Ability and willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as necessary.
Ability to travel up to 20% to office work project sites in the greater Northeast Region and/or East Coast, with office presence required at least 3 days per week unless otherwise agreed upon.
