Job Description

The role involves supporting the development and operational planning of geothermal projects by providing technical expertise, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring project feasibility and efficiency from pursuit through preconstruction stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Operations SME supporting project pursuit and preconstruction phases.
  • Act as the main point of contact for technical, construction process, and operational questions during project development.
  • Lead and coordinate the operational preconstruction process from project concept to handoff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between project strategy and field execution.
  • Evaluate constructability, operational risk, equipment needs, and resource requirements during project development.
  • Support innovation initiatives to optimize drilling, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast revenue from business development opportunities and assess operational capabilities.
  • Assist in developing and refining preconstruction workflows, tools, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Construction, or related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, construction, energy, or related technical fields.
  • Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Interest in geothermal drilling operations, renewable energy, or construction operations (preferred).
  • Experience with CRM platform Hubspot (required).
  • Experience with project management or construction platforms such as Procore, Monday.com, etc. (preferred).
  • Work hours of a minimum of forty (40) hours per week.
  • Travel required up to 25% to work project sites in the greater Northeast Region of the United States.
  • Pre-employment background check including employment verification, criminal history check, and drug screen.
  • Compliance with drug and alcohol-free workplace policies, including prior drug and alcohol testing records for safety-sensitive roles as per DOT regulations (if applicable).

Benefits & Perks

Base salary range of $75,000-$95,000 annually, potentially modified based on location, experience, and other factors
Performance-based annual bonus
Work schedule of at least 40 hours per week, with overtime pay for non-exempt employees
