Job Description
A Scale Operator at Bee Green Recycling Supply is responsible for managing customer interactions at the recycling facility, ensuring load compliance, and maintaining a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment while providing excellent service and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers at the recycling facility
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations
- Ensure compliance with load regulations under the facility's permit
- Operate the scale equipment accurately to weigh loads
- Maintain safety protocols in a fast-paced work environment
- Problem solve and take initiative to address operational issues
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
Requirements
- Candidates must be trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking.
- Candidates must be able to take initiative and problem solve.
- Candidates must be a team player in a busy recycling facility.
- Candidates must be able to stand for the majority of the shift.
- Candidates must develop and maintain positive customer relations.
- Candidates must ensure the facility is in compliance with load regulations under the permit.
- Candidates must be able to work in a very fast-paced work environment.
