Job Description
This position involves leading survey teams, managing survey projects, and performing various surveying tasks, including planning, reviewing, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of survey data, while also managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate survey staff and technicians
- Review and ensure accuracy of survey work and calculations
- Prepare survey documents, legal descriptions, control sheets, and field work orders
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and proposals
- Maintain client relationships and assist in marketing and business development
- Mentor and train survey staff and review completed survey products
- Ensure quality control of survey deliverables and documentation
- Monitor project progress, costs, and billing, including scope and contract compliance
- Oversee field survey tasks and occasionally perform surveying in the field
- Develop and enforce survey standards and procedures
Requirements
- 6-10 years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Licensed Land Surveyor.
