Job Description
The internship offers hands-on experience in tax services, including tax planning, consulting, and compliance, working with diverse clients and collaborating with professionals in a dynamic CPA and advisory firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tax services for multiple clients across various industries.
- Interact with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
- Collaborate with partners to develop and implement innovative tax strategies.
Requirements
- Candidates must be high-potential accounting students interested in Tax who want to continue Aprio's standard of excellence and dive straight into hands-on accounting projects.
- Candidates must be available to participate in the Spring 2026 Internship Program from January to April 2026 in the Nashville, TN Office.
- Candidates must have the ability to work with small, medium, and large clients and benefit from a diverse client base, including one-on-one contact with clients and partners.
- Candidates must be willing to interact closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
- Candidates must be capable of working closely with partners on delivering innovative tax planning strategies.
- Candidates must be able to work with and form relationships with middle to large-sized tax clients.
- Candidates must be pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field, with the intention to develop a solid general foundation in tax services.
- Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and professional growth in the field of tax.
- Candidates must be able to participate in a group project involving volunteering and social impact as part of the internship program.
