Job Description
A Project Surveyor at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading land development surveys, managing projects from start to finish, and collaborating with engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver precise and high-quality survey data for residential, commercial, and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects
- Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process survey data and create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps
- Review and verify survey calculations and field data for precision and compliance
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure survey accuracy and project success
Requirements
- A deep understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, with the ability to process data, create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Experience with Trimble field equipment preferred.
- Prior field crew experience is a plus, indicating an understanding of both office and field survey processes.
- LSIT or PLS certification desired, with multi-state licensure being a plus.
