Job Description
The Project Coordinator at Atwell, LLC is responsible for supporting project management activities, coordinating client communications, assembling project teams, monitoring project progress, and ensuring quality standards to achieve project profitability and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming experience for clients and visitors.
- Represent Atwell in all communications with clients and coordinate with management.
- Assemble and coordinate project teams and monitor project progress.
- Implement project plans, assist with determining timeframes, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
- Analyze design, client requirements, and performance standards to ensure work quality.
- Monitor project status by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Assist with marketing support, follow up on proposals, and build client relationships.
- Coach, counsel, and mentor team members to ensure performance standards.
- Maintain project files and ensure product quality by following established standards.
- Apply engineering, environmental, land planning, and survey concepts independently.
- Compile project status updates and maintain project documentation.
- Assist with project control by adhering to parameters, managing budgets, and analyzing variances.
- Help organize and assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, and recommend sub-consultants.
- Support financial objectives by maintaining budgets, approving expenditures, and managing invoicing.
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in civil engineering, environmental, land planning, survey, or related field
- Ability to apply fundamental engineering, environmental, land planning, and survey concepts independently
- Proficiency in communicating with clients, management, and team members effectively
- Ability to coordinate and assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, and assist in recruiting for open positions as needed
- Experience in analyzing design, client requirements, and performance standards to assure work product quality
- Ability to monitor project status by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and intervening as needed to meet project objectives
- Experience in maintaining project files by collecting and organizing project materials
- Ability to assist in implementing project plans, determining timeframes, budgets, staffing, and schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager
- Experience in tracking and managing project budgets, schedules, and expenditures, including analyzing variances and recommending changes
- Ability to assist in project control by adhering to project parameters and recommending changes in design, specifications, budget, and schedule
- Experience in invoicing, collecting payments, and initiating corrective actions related to project financials
- Willingness to attend educational workshops, review professional and market publications, establish personal networks, and participate in professional societies and trade associations to maintain professional and technical knowledge
