Job Description
A Solar Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing residential and commercial solar systems, including photovoltaic, storage, and off-grid setups, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial solar systems
- Resolve on-site concerns related to photovoltaic, storage, and off-grid systems
- Serve as the technical expert for solar installation issues
Requirements
- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Residential and Commercial Photovoltaic, Storage, and Off-Grid solar systems.
- Ability to resolve concerns related to solar installations on-site.
- Knowledge of solar system components, including photovoltaic panels, storage systems, and off-grid systems.
- Physical ability to perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair work, which may include lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in solar energy systems, with relevant experience or training in solar installation, maintenance, or repair.
- Willingness to work under general supervision, with the ability to work independently on-site to resolve issues.
- Possession of relevant certifications or licenses related to solar installation or electrical work (implied, as technical expertise is required).
