Job Description
The Senior Manager, M&A Operations, leads complex buy-side transactions, overseeing due diligence, operational integration, and cross-functional team coordination to ensure timely closings and maximize deal value for a fast-growing CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive buy-side M&A transaction support and post-close integration for clients.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and execute operational diligence activities.
- Plan and oversee integration efforts across multiple functional areas to ensure seamless execution.
- Lead complex, concurrent transactions, managing communication and alignment among teams.
- Ensure on-time deal closure and rapid integration to maximize value and minimize risk.
Requirements
- Deep technical M A expertise, proven leadership, and the ability to marshal cross-functional teams to deliver on-time day-one close and rapid integration maximizing value and minimizing risk at every stage of the deal lifecycle.
- Oversee and coordinate more than 60 sub-workstreams across 14 functional areas related to buy-side M A transaction support and post-close integration.
- Own due diligence coordination, operational diligence execution, and integration planning with speed and precision.
- Demonstrate deep understanding and experience in M A transaction processes, including due diligence, operational diligence, and integration planning.
- Proven ability to lead complex, concurrent transactions effectively.
- Ability to ensure seamless communication, alignment, and execution across multiple workstreams and functional areas.
- Deep technical M A expertise, proven leadership, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver on-time day-one close and rapid integration.
- Work with a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm that offers full-time team members Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance on the first day of employment.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in M A transaction support, due diligence, or related roles.
- Experience in managing or coordinating multiple workstreams and functional areas within M A transactions.
- Ability to deliver results with speed and precision in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to ensure seamless communication, alignment, and execution among diverse teams.
- Ability to work in a flexible working environment including remote and hybrid options.
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning in M A and related fields.
