Job Description

This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry knowledge to build relationships with state and local government clients, identify their needs, and drive the adoption and expansion of Esri's GIS solutions through account management and strategic sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer needs, stakeholders, and business drivers to tailor GIS solutions
  • Demonstrate the value of Esri technology through solution selling and visual storytelling
  • Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
  • Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions
  • Conduct research and professional development to stay informed on industry trends and customer needs

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and local government and new technology trends, with the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Base salary range of $93,600 to $176,800 USD
