Job Description

The Audit Manager will lead and oversee construction industry audits, ensuring compliance and quality while working with a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm. The role involves managing client relationships, mentoring team members, and contributing to the firm's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee audit engagements for construction clients
  • Plan, execute, and review audit procedures to ensure compliance with standards
  • Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
  • Manage and coordinate audit teams to ensure timely completion of audits
  • Assess internal controls and risk management processes of construction companies

Requirements

  • Candidates must have experience in conducting audits and managing audit engagements within a CPA or accounting firm environment.
  • Candidates must possess a CPA license or be qualified to obtain one, as this is a requirement for the Audit Manager role.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in audit and assurance services, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), auditing standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to financial statement audits.
  • Candidates must have experience leading audit teams, overseeing audit planning, execution, and completion of multiple client engagements.
  • Candidates must possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and regulatory bodies.
  • Candidates must have the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify audit issues and risks.
  • Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid or remote working environment as per the firm's flexible work policies.
