Job Description
The Audit Manager at Aprio is responsible for leading audit engagements, providing financial insights to clients, and helping private and closely-held companies make informed business decisions while fostering strong client relationships and ensuring seamless audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with maximizing opportunities and making confident business decisions
- Provide trusted financial insights to private and closely-held companies
- Ensure compliance and facilitate clear communication during the audit process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and stakeholders
- Help minimize clients' risks through effective assurance practices
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or assurance services, with a focus on auditing private and closely-held companies.
- Have a CPA license or equivalent certification recognized in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements.
- Ability to provide trusted financial insights that minimize risk and build stronger relationships with lenders and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure clear and effective communication during the audit process and with clients.
- Experience leading audit teams and managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Proven ability to play a vital role in helping clients maximize opportunities and make confident business decisions.
- Ability to work effectively with a high-energy, passionate, and collaborative team of professionals.
- Willingness to adhere to the firm’s culture and fundamental behaviors that guide the client and team-member experience.
- Availability to work in a flexible working environment, including remote and hybrid options, as required by the firm.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, including support for CPA certification and related programs.
