The Associate in Assurance Services at Aprio works with clients to improve financial reporting, internal controls, and evaluate accounting issues, helping businesses mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency through audit and advisory expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients in improving financial reporting capabilities and internal controls
Evaluate accounting issues and stay updated on new accounting regulations
Help assess the quality of information used for strategic business decisions

Work with audit experts to mitigate financial and business risks for clients
Requirements
Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Have relevant experience working in assurance, audit, or financial reporting roles, with a clear understanding of internal controls and accounting issues.
Demonstrate the ability to evaluate accounting issues and stay current with new accounting regulations that could impact long-term business growth.
Show proficiency in assessing the quality of financial information used for strategic business decisions.
Be capable of identifying areas for operational efficiency improvements within client organizations.
Possess credentialed expertise in auditing, with experience working with businesses and industry leaders to mitigate financial and business risks.
Have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with professionals to deliver assurance services.
Be willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to learning and growth.
Be eligible to work full-time, with availability to work during standard business hours and potentially during peak audit periods.
Possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members, conveying complex financial and accounting information clearly.
