Job Description
The Audit Leader will oversee manufacturing audit engagements, lead a team of professionals, and help clients optimize their financial and operational processes within a fast-growing CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee manufacturing audit engagements
- Plan, execute, and review audit procedures specific to manufacturing clients
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies during audits
- Manage and mentor audit team members working on manufacturing audits
Requirements
- Significant manufacturing experience relevant to the audit leadership role.
- Ability to lead and oversee audit engagements for manufacturing clients.
- Proven expertise in auditing manufacturing companies, including understanding of manufacturing processes and industry-specific risks.
- Experience in managing audit teams and coordinating with clients to ensure timely and quality completion of audits.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and other relevant accounting and auditing regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and review audit plans, procedures, and reports for manufacturing clients.
- Experience in identifying and addressing complex accounting issues specific to manufacturing companies.
- Ability to mentor and train audit staff, providing guidance on technical accounting and auditing matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a CPA license.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
- Physical ability to perform audit work, including visiting client sites as required.
