Job Description
The Audit Leader role involves overseeing manufacturing audit engagements, leading a team of professionals, and providing strategic insights to help clients maximize opportunities within a fast-growing CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee manufacturing audit engagements
- Plan, execute, and review audit procedures for manufacturing clients
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accounting principles during audits
Requirements
- Significant manufacturing experience relevant to the audit leadership role.
- Ability to lead and oversee audit engagements within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing audit teams and client relationships in a manufacturing context.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operations, and industry-specific financial considerations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to guide audit staff and ensure quality and compliance in audit procedures.
- Experience with planning, executing, and completing manufacturing audits in accordance with applicable standards.
- Ability to identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to clients and stakeholders.
- Relevant professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent qualification.
- Educational background sufficient to support a senior audit leadership role, typically a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Experience in a public accounting or CPA firm environment, specifically in audit services for manufacturing clients.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations applicable to manufacturing companies.
- Physical ability to perform audit work, including site visits to manufacturing facilities, if required.
