Job Description

A Software Development Engineer at Amperity will develop advanced data pipelines, build flexible marketing solutions, and integrate AI capabilities to help clients leverage their customer data for deeper insights and improved engagement, working on a mission-critical platform at the intersection of AI, data, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop advanced data pipelines and integrate AI capabilities to enhance customer data insights
Build full-stack experiences and tools for data visualization and customer understanding
Process and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources
Collaborate on deploying and maintaining scalable, cloud-native infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes
Utilize data science and AI techniques to accelerate data value realization for clients

Requirements

5 years of experience including 3 years developing enterprise software
3 years of experience building applications on database technologies
3 years of experience working in a production environment, demonstrating the ability to get products and features released to customers
Experience with infrastructure development and deployment using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with a platform-level team whose customers are other developers
Excitement about using functional languages like Clojure in a production environment
Passionate about building elegant user experiences on top of complex technology
Ability to process and understand large amounts of structured and unstructured customer, product, and event data
Experience building applications that integrate AI capabilities to help clients gain deeper insights and activate their data
Experience working with big data technologies
Experience with large-scale data engines such as Apache Spark, Presto, and Kafka
Experience with cloud-native infrastructure built with Kubernetes and Terraform, deployed across multiple cloud providers
