Job Description
The role involves developing and managing large-scale data systems, building predictive and real-time analytics tools, and creating user experiences that enable clients to gain insights from customer data using AI and modern data technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage batching and real-time streaming systems handling large structured customer, product, and event data.
- Build full-stack experiences and tools for data visualization, customer understanding, and insight-driven actions.
- Integrate services into clients' operational core to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Develop agentic tools and MCPs to enable external AI tools to leverage the platform.
- Build and scale large-scale data-oriented systems, including data warehouses and query stacks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working with large-scale data-oriented systems.
- Experience with building, scaling, and managing production environments.
- Proficiency in working with open source large-scale database engines such as Spark and Trino.
- Experience with microservices architecture using Clojure as the primary programming language.
- Experience with developing full-stack experiences and toolsets for data visualization, customer understanding, and insight generation.
- Ability to own batching and real-time streaming systems that handle large amounts of structured customer, product, and event data.
- Experience integrating services into the operating core of businesses to change how marketers use customer data.
- Experience building agentic tools for customers and developing MCPs to enable external AI tools to utilize the platform.
- Ability to build and deploy cloud-first architectures using technologies like Terraform and Kubernetes in a multi-cloud environment.
- Experience with developing and maintaining web stacks based on ClojureScript and React tools.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Codex and Claude to accelerate development.
- Strong collaboration, open-mindedness, and inclusiveness, with a focus on customer success.
- Educational background or equivalent experience in relevant technical fields (implied by the need for 5+ years of experience and technical skills).
