Job Description

The Senior Pre-Sales Solution Consultant at Amperity is responsible for leading technical and solutions discussions with prospects, demonstrating the platform's value, and supporting sales efforts to help brands leverage customer data for personalized experiences and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical and solutions aspects of the sales process by understanding prospects' business objectives, challenges, and architecture ecosystem.
  • Demonstrate and explain the Amperity platform's capabilities and relevance to prospective clients' use cases.
  • Collaborate with sales teams throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, demonstrations, architecture sessions, and solution scoping.
  • Develop technical qualification and solutions consulting based on prospects' business and technical requirements.
  • Provide real-time expert guidance on platform applicability and solutions during client interactions.
  • Create and deliver compelling solution presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Transition closed deals from pre-sales to client services using technical documentation and processes.
  • Gather and share technical lessons learned with internal teams to improve solutions and product offerings.
  • Provide feedback to engineering teams to influence product development based on field experiences.
  • Respond to technical aspects of RFPs and RFIs from prospects.
  • Engage relevant internal resources (Services, Product, Security) at appropriate stages of the sales process.

Requirements

  • 8 years experience in customer-facing roles in the marketing technology or data analytics domain.
  • 2 years experience in technology related to customer data management, data modeling, martech, adtech, database management, or business intelligence tool configuration and programming.
  • Experience with data related technology - SQL, databases, data integration tools, APIs, Machine Learning.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills in data analysis manipulation.
  • Customer Data Consultant who is interested in the customer data domain and passionate about helping brands realize value from their customer data.
  • Never Stop Learning Mindset - Curious about technology and data - both how they work and how they can be leveraged by brands.
  • Client-focused attitude and ability to act as a customer advocate.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
