Job Description
The role involves leading the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function at Amperity, including financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting, while integrating AI to improve processes and partnering with business leaders to drive strategic financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the FP&A function, including financial modeling, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
- Develop and improve forecasting processes, systems, and models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide monthly financial analysis and reporting, highlighting variances, risks, and key business drivers.
- Partner with operations and leadership to monitor KPIs and deliver insights on business performance.
- Prepare and present financial insights to stakeholders, including leadership and investors.
- Support special projects such as fundraising, M&A, and integration efforts.
- Research industry benchmarks and educate internal teams on financial performance standards.
- Identify and prioritize business opportunities based on financial analysis and resource availability.
- Apply AI to enhance FP&A systems and processes for better forecasting and reporting.
Requirements
- Ten years of experience in a quantitative discipline, including at least five years of direct FP A experience in a fast-growing private company and/or a public company, ideally in the software industry.
- Proven ability to develop business partnerships across organizations.
- Highly inquisitive with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience modeling in and maintaining FP A systems.
- Strong Excel modeling skills.
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond when needed.
