Job Description
A Customer Service Specialist at Amber supports customers in maximizing their use of wholesale energy, providing timely and informative assistance to enhance their experience with innovative renewable energy solutions. The role involves engaging with a growing team in a flexible, Melbourne-based environment to promote the company's mission of accelerating the renewable energy transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Amber customers in understanding and optimizing their use of wholesale energy products
- Provide informative, concise, and timely customer support to ensure positive customer experiences
- Assist customers with inquiries related to home batteries, EV charging, and energy management
- Maintain flexibility in work hours and location, including remote and office-based work
Requirements
- Supporting Amber customers to make the most of wholesale energy by providing informative, concise, and timely support.
- Working in a team environment as a Customer Service Specialist supporting a growing team.
- Being based in Melbourne and maintaining flexibility between working from home and in the office in the CBD.
- Working 30-40 hours per week with shifts scheduled between 9am and 8pm.
- Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and be currently based in Australia, preferably Melbourne.
- Applying with a resume and cover letter, and being willing to participate in a multi-stage interview process including an initial screening interview, a take-home case study, and a final interview with the Customer Service Lead and Customer Experience Manager.
- Demonstrating passion and curiosity for the role, even if not meeting every listed experience or skill requirement.
