Job Description
A Sales Development Representative at AlertMedia is responsible for engaging strategic targets, conducting high-volume prospecting, and supporting the growth of the company's emergency communication solutions through consultative sales efforts and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high volume prospecting and outreach to generate qualified leads.
- Partner with Account Executives to engage new customers and support prospecting efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
- Demonstrate and advise prospects on how AlertMedia's platform can address their communication challenges.
- Develop and refine prospecting strategies in collaboration with Marketing.
- Manage and log activities using Salesforce.com and other tools.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and self-manage activity levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a fast-paced or high-growth sales environment (preferred).
- Passion for sales with an ability to exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
- Hunter mentality with an always prospecting approach and ability to set demos and meetings.
- Outstanding organization, communication, and relationship building skills.
- A passion for continual learning with a desire and willingness to be coached.
- Ability to maintain ongoing transparent communications about activities with management.
- Ability to thrive with both autonomy and collaboration, including self-managing pipeline and activity.
- Experience with Salesforce.com, managing and logging tasks and activities regularly and correctly (preferred).
- Location in Austin or surrounding areas, as this is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
- Must be located in Austin or surrounding areas.
- Ability to conduct high volume prospecting and phone outreach for qualified leads using tools such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and other outbound techniques.
- Ability to build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
- Ability to collaborate with Marketing to develop and refine prospecting strategies.
- Ability to use a consultative approach to advise prospects on how AlertMedia can help solve their communication challenges.
- Ability to demonstrate AlertMedia’s products and key differentiators conversationally.
