Job Description
The Site Facilities Manager will oversee the operations, maintenance, and transition of a new indoor energy facility in Austin, TX, ensuring operational excellence and coordinating with various teams and external vendors to establish a fully functional and efficient site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transition of an existing structure into a fully operational Exowatt facility
- Manage daily maintenance operations of the facility
- Oversee the setup and operational readiness of the indoor facility
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers
- Establish operational excellence at the Austin location
Requirements
- Candidates must have experience in leading operations at a facility of similar size and complexity, specifically overseeing the transition of an existing structure into a fully operational facility.
- Candidates must have experience managing daily maintenance operations at an industrial facility.
- Candidates must have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Candidates must be based in the Austin, TX area, as the position is only open to local candidates.
- Candidates must be able to perform hands-on leadership responsibilities at a 48,000 square foot indoor facility situated on an 11.2-acre industrial site.
- Candidates must have the ability to establish operational excellence at a strategic location through effective management and leadership.
