The Renewals Manager is responsible for managing customer contract renewals, driving retention, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue and strengthen customer relationships within a SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own and lead the renewals process to preserve and enhance customer contracts and relationships
Engage with key decision-makers to identify customer requirements and address roadblocks
Prepare renewal quotes, notifications, and develop strategies to maximize revenue retention
Maintain and report an accurate forecast of upcoming renewals
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during contract renewals to drive customer growth
Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external customers to facilitate renewals
Participate in business reviews and lead renewal meetings as needed
Develop a deep understanding of pricing models, contract structures, and negotiation flexibility
Requirements
3 years of professional experience in Renewals or Procurement, or 4 years of Sales, Customer Success, or Account Management preferably within a SaaS organization
Salesforce experience required
Consistent track record of achieving personal and team goals
Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
Detail oriented, comfortable gathering and analyzing data, creative problem solver, team player, adaptable
Ability to grow business in a strategic manner, i.e., creating new processes and initiatives with limited direction
Strong ability to forge lasting relationships through verbal and virtual communication to meet objectives and sales quotas
Ability to independently make good decisions in the spirit of the strategic direction of the organization
Experienced in coordinating with cross functional teams to drive various objectives such as quota, legal amendments, technical issues, etc.
