Job Description

The Commercial Corporate Accounts Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by developing relationships with commercial clients, supporting dealer and partner activities, and providing technical and sales training within the security and automation industry for small to large businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key individuals within commercial accounts to drive sales growth
  • Assist commercial dealers in presenting the Alarm.com for Business platform to end users
  • Conduct on-site product technical and sales training for dealers
  • Build relationships with industry partners and educate them on Alarm.com offerings to influence dealer sales
  • Coordinate sales and support activities with internal teams and branches
  • Attend industry association meetings and trade shows
  • Interface with various organizational departments including Dealer Operations Support, Sales Support, Training, Product Management, and Marketing
  • Mentor and lead junior sales staff and inside sales team

Requirements

  • Experience in the sales, installation, and support of commercial security products, specifically access control, alarm systems, and video surveillance
  • Proven history of increasing revenue, closing new accounts, and successfully growing accounts
  • Ability to sell concepts and value-added services
  • Successful history of client and account management, and business development
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Ability to meet heavy travel demands, approximately 50-75% travel
  • Ability to manage a large set of accounts and prioritize activities for highest impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including client presentation and training delivery experience
  • Demonstrated passion for providing the highest-quality customer service
  • Team player with an extremely positive attitude and flexibility
  • Strong technical and computer skills and aptitude
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
