Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative at OpenEye is responsible for managing and growing customer relationships with channel partners, generating sales opportunities, and supporting regional sales efforts through outbound and inbound communication, with a focus on achieving revenue targets and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an existing customer base of channel partners by increasing share of wallet and adding new partners
  • Proactively generate meetings and opportunities by presenting the value of OpenEye products and services
  • Achieve sales quotas to meet territory revenue and growth objectives
  • Communicate with customers through outbound and inbound calls, follow up on leads, and build relationships
  • Explain and demonstrate product features to prospects and customers
  • Research and qualify new sales leads
  • Follow up on quotes, update CRM, close sales, and meet sales targets

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous sales and account management experience is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as com is a plus but can be trained.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent inbound and outbound calling skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Ability to achieve sales targets and meet quota.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while providing Heroic customer service and driving revenue.
  • Ability to research and qualify new leads, follow up on quotes, update CRM, and close sales.
  • Must be highly motivated and self-starting with a desire to create a career at OpenEye.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with prospects and internal/external customers, including making outbound calls and handling inbound calls.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid environment (as indicated by the job posting).
  • Must be able to work in a manner that supports achieving revenue and growth objectives.
